Music at the Market
Live Musical Performances
The Downtown Farmington Farmers & Artisans Market is special to
everyone for different reasons: live
music every week - great plants, flowers and produce - unique
crafts - Downtown shops and eateries.
Some people come to the Market just to hear the live music.
Musicians appearing at
the Farmington Farmers Market & Artisans Market are local gems
that will put a smile on your face while you experience the blend of art, nature and music.
Experience the sights, sounds and smells that will entice you
back for flowers, baked goods, vegetables, one-of-a-kind arts and
crafts.
Below, you'll find the musical artists for the 2008 Farmington Farmers
& Artisans Market.

Jill
Jack with Billy Brandt
See Jill in the intimate
setting of our Market pavilion. Jill, with her soulful
voice, has won 25 Detroit Music Awards including three more in
April 2008.
Her genre-jumping sound doesn't fit easily into any one format
and keeps her free to write and sing what she wants, "I am
a folk artist and I'm proud of that". Jill can do
more than just a good folk song. She can sing a sweet ballad and
rock the place out too.

Dan Goree
Dan is a gifted player. He is accomplished in many styles,
including funk, smooth jazz, classic soul, rock&roll and
he's a great vocalist.

Bob Monteleone
Catch Bob & his trusty Seagull or Taylor acoustic
guitar. As much as he loves the give & take of other musicians,
playing solo gives Bob the freedom to take off in any direction, any
time. He's more likely to play more Neil Young, Radiohead and other
personal favorites as well as original songs.
